Tottenham agree deal to sign Manchester City's Marmoush on loan
Spurs add a second Manchester City forward in a week, agreeing a loan for Egypt international Omar Marmoush with an obligation to buy for up to £60m once the move is completed.

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal to sign Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush on an initial loan with an obligation to buy for up to £60m, according to reports, with a medical scheduled ahead of the move being completed.
The fee is structured as £50m guaranteed plus £10m in add-ons, with Eintracht Frankfurt, Marmoush's former club, not owed a sell-on clause from the move. The 27-year-old Egypt international joined Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 but has seen limited regular first-team action since. According to Yahoo Sports, the deal includes a four-year contract at Tottenham with a further 12-month extension option.
Marmoush follows Brazil winger Savio to north London, who completed an £85m move from City in a club-record sale reported earlier this week. The signing is part of an active summer window for Tottenham under manager Roberto De Zerbi, whose spending this summer has passed £300m, including the signings of Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes and Jan Paul van Hecke, plus free transfers for Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi.
"I don't understand why Tottenham can't spend the same money as Chelsea, Liverpool," De Zerbi said, according to Sky Sports, underlining his ambition to compete with the Premier League's biggest spenders.
